Kikubapa The Founder Of Gandhigharkachholi. He was born on September 11, 1903, at his maternal grandfather’s house in Salej, Kachholi, Dist. Navsari. He received his education at Gramseva Dixit, Gujarat Vidyapith in Ahmedabad, where he was honored with the “Gramseva Dixit” certificate by Mahatma Gandhi on January 14, 1931. Before India’s independence, he was deeply involved in the country’s struggle for freedom, actively participating in the Namak Satyagraha picketing and the Civil Disobedience Movement as part of the Quit India movement.
